Ingredients For linguini with lemon alfredo sauce

salt to taste

1 pkg. fresh linguini, 9 oz.

3/4 cup whipping cream

1 tbsp butter
-
3 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tbsp. grated lemon peel

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make linguini with lemon alfredo sauce

1Bring salted water to a boil in pan over high heat. Add linguini. Cook, uncovered, til al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water.

2Mix cream and butter in large heavy skillet. Bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Stir in lemon juice and peel.

3Add pasta; toss to coat, adding reserved water as needed to thin the sauce to desired consistency. Add cheese and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Serves 4
