Ingredients For linguini, shrimp & asparagus

1 lbmedium cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined

1 lbfresh asparagus
-
8 ozdried linguini
-
3 tspminced garlic
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
8roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped.

2 Tbsptomato paste
-
1/3 cchicken broth
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1 Tbspbutter
-
2 tspdried basil
How To Make linguini, shrimp & asparagus

1Trim asparagus, remove tips and set aside. Slice the asparagus stalks on a bias into 1"-pieces, set aside. Cook pasta as directed, drain, keep warm. In lg skillet cook & stir garlic in oil over medium heat for about 15 seconds. Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook, stirring 3 min. Add to skillet, the asparagus stalks, broth, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook 3 min. Stir in shrimp and asparagus tips. Cook 3 min, or until shrimp is pink. Stir in butter until melted. Add shrimp mix to pasta. Stir in basil, toss to coat.
