I was little nervous about trying this one because I'm not used to cooking with clams, but it turned out like a dream. Very tasty!

Ingredients For linguini and white clam sauce.

  • 1/2 c
    vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 6 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 c
    fresh parsey
  • 1 c
    white wine or chicken or fish broth
  • 3 can
    clams
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • dash
    ground red pepper or cayenne
  • 3/4 lb
    cooked linguine

How To Make linguini and white clam sauce.

    In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

    Add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add Parsley and wine or broth. Cook, stirring for 1-2 minutes.

    Add the next 5 ingredients. Stirring frequently, simmer for 5-10 minutes.

    Toss with linguine.
