A much lighter version of Pasta Carbona and still same deliciousness.

Ingredients For lighter pasta carbonara

  • 2
    egg yolks
  • 2 c
    any milk
  • 5 clove
    garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 8 oz
    pasta of choice
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley to garnish

How To Make lighter pasta carbonara

  • 1
    Cook pasta al dente, according to package, reserving some pasta water
  • 2
    Air fry bacon, till crisp
  • 3
    In a bowl combine eggs & milk
  • 4
    I a large skillet, melt butter and saute on low the smashed garlic cloves, about a min.
  • 5
    Add in the milk mixture and parmesan cheese.
  • 6
    Add in pasta and bacon, add some pasta water if needed and combine well. Turn off heat and let sit 10 mins..stir and serve, garnish with parsley and more parm.
