Recently a friend was asking on Facebook for a good macaroni and cheese recipe. I did not respond because so many others did. I mean it's just macaroni, cheese, some milk or cream and butter, right? We make a LOT of mac and cheese at our house. Sometimes I just cook the macaroni, add Alfredo sauce and toss in whatever cheese we have on hand. About a week after her request, my friend was begging for a no fail recipe. Well I just happen to have one. And this is it!

Ingredients For mac & cheese

4 celbow macaroni (16 oz.)

8 ozvelveeta, cut into chunks or cubes

1monterrey jack cheese, shredded

1 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 cmuenster cheese, shredded
-
2eggs
-
1 1/2 chalf and half
-
1 stickbutter
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/8 tsppepper
How To Make mac & cheese

1Preheat the oven to 350 Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes

2Drain pasta

3Melt butter in the pan you cooked the pasta in. Do not place it back on the burner

4Break up the butter to soften it faster, then return to low heat to finish melting

5Stir in pasta and stir to coat well

6Spoon pasta and butter into a large mixing bowl then add all the cheeses and mix well

7In a small mixing bowl whisk the eggs, half and half, and salt and pepper

8Pour egg mixture over pasta and cheeses and mix to coat macaroni

9Pour mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350 for 35 minutes
