Whoever is looking for a healthy alfredo, this is it. And it is very yummy!!!!! I found this in my local newspaper. Enjoy!!!!

Ingredients For kathy's fettuccine alfredo

  • 1 lb
    uncooked fettuccine
  • 2 Tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    fat-free milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    half and half
  • 2 Tbsp
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make kathy's fettuccine alfredo

    Cook fettuccine, Drain and place in lg. bowl

    Put flour in saucepan, gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Cook over low heat,stiring til thickened (about 5 min). Add butter, stir til melted, stir in half&half and heavy cream stir til well combined. Add grated cheese and stir until melted, removefrom heat and stir in salt and pepper.

    Put the sauce in the bowl with the fettuccine, and toss until pasta is well coated. Serve immediately.
