This is a recipe from my husband's aunt. She received it from her Italian landlady when they lived in Europe in the 40's/50's. It calls for vermicelli, but I've also used the angel hair and spaghetti noodles and it is fine.

Ingredients For italian spaghetti

1 lbvermicelli

1garlic bulb chopped

1/2 cbutter
-
4 ozolive oil

1 tsporegano
-
1 1/2 tspitalian seasoning

grated romano cheese
How To Make italian spaghetti

1Boil Vermicelli, when done rinse in warm water. Mash garlic in butter and olive oil. Cooke and bring to a boil. Add spices.

2Pour over warm vermicelli. Sprinkle with cheese when ready to serve

3Keeps well in a warm oven and microwaves well for leftovers. This tastes great as a side dish with prime rib or steaks. Add seafood for a complete dish. Delicious! My families favorite!
