stuffed pasta shells have never been as good as these, thay are filled with three types of cheese and zesty Italian flavors.

Ingredients For italian 3-cheese stuffed shells

  • 1 lb
    ground ground chuck
  • 1 c
    onion chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlc , minced
  • 2 c
    hot water
  • 1 can
    ( 12 oz ) tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    instane beef bouillon granules
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1
    ( 16 oz ) container cottage cheese
  • 1 pkg
    ( 8 oz ) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 24
    jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained

How To Make italian 3-cheese stuffed shells

    Cook beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring beef until crumbles and is no longer pink, drain. Stir in water, tomato paste, bouillon, and oregano, simmer over medium heat about 30 minutes.

    Stir in the cottage cheese, and one cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and egg in a medium bowl, mix well. Stuff shells with cheese mixture, arrange in a greased 13x9" baking pan. Pour beef mixture over shells. cover and bake at 350 degrees fo 40 -45 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaning mozzarella cheese. Bake 5 minutes more until cheese melts.
