I worked all week on this one.I tried to put a twist on the pasta for my kids. They loved it and had no idea they were eatten spinach!

Ingredients For inside-out ravioli

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    onion
  • 1
    clove of garlic minced
  • 1
    10oz package of frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 lb
    can of spaghetti-sauce with mushrooms
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce
  • 6 oz
    can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 7 oz
    package elbow macaroni shells cooked and drained
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheese or as much as you like. we love cheese
  • 1/2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 2
    well beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c
    salad oil

How To Make inside-out ravioli

  • 1
    Brown 1st 3 ingredients in large skillet. Cook spinach using package directions. Drain , reserving liquid. add water to make 1 cup. Add spinach liquid and next five ingrdients to meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with macaroni and remaining ingredients: spread in 13 x 9 in backing dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. serves 8 to 10
