Ingredients For imagine bill's cheesy pasta!

  • 8 oz
    frozen asparagus
  • 1/4
    whole bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1/2
    onion sliced thinly
  • 1 lb
    cubed ham
  • 8 oz
    thick spaghetti
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 oz
    canned mushrooms
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 15 oz
    ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make imagine bill's cheesy pasta!

    Cook asparagus according to bag directions. Chop into one inch pieces and set aside. Cut the bell pepper and onion into thin strips and set aside. Cut ham into cubes and set aside.

    Cook pasta to al dente according to box directions. You could use any pasta, but we prefer thick spaghetti. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.

    While pasta is cooking, melt one tablespoon of butter in a big fry pan. Fry onion, and bell pepper on medium heat for about three minutes.

    Add the mushroom soup, mushrooms, milk, ham to the skillet. Cook on medium heat until well blended. Add the ricotta cheese and cook for a couple minutes until it melts, stirring frequently.

    Add the asparagus and pasta to the pan, and stir until combined. Add the shredded cheddar to the pan and mix until melted. Add reserved pasta water and mix until smooth.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.
