Need a hearty dinner idea? Try this quick and easy casserole. This is a tangy, creamy, layered Italian casserole. We loved the texture of the egg noodles when the creamy layer and cheese melts into them. Mixed with the meat marinara layer, it's an awesome comforting bite. This reminds us of a beef stroganoff but with a red sauce. An easy and inexpensive meal. Your family will definitely clean their plates and ask for seconds.

Ingredients For heavenly casserole

1 lbground beef

garlic powder
-
1 tspsugar

1 tspsalt

1 cantomato sauce, 15 oz
-
2 ozcream cheese
-
1/2 ptsour cream
-
12 ozegg noodles
-
1 lbmozzarella cheese, shredded

parsley
How To Make heavenly casserole

1Preheat oven to 350. In frying pan brown beef and drain.

2Sprinkle on a little garlic powder over beef.

3Add sugar, salt, and tomato sauce. Mix it all up in the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

4Meanwhile, in a bowl mix sour cream, cream cheese and some onion powder until mixed well.

5Cook and drain egg noodle as package tells you.

6Grease a 9X13 baking dish.

7In baking dish spread half of the noodles.

8Cover with half of the cream cheese mixture.

9Top with half of the mozzarella.

10Now cover with all the meat sauce from the pan.

11Put in remaining noodles, cream cheese mixture, and mozzarella.

12Sprinkle parsley over casserole.

13Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
