I always have left over pasta ,plus a little bit of this and that in my refrig or freezer.. Time to clear it out I say, and this is what I ended up with.. Great left over dish.. LOL But I think is is now going to be a dish to go too..

Ingredients For green peas and penne pasta with light cheese sauce

1 cchopped red and yellow peppers

1/4 cdiced onion

2 Tbspolive oil

2 ccooked penne pasta

1 cpeas
-
1 clow-sodium chicken broth
-
1 Tbspcorn starch

3 ozcheddar cheese
How To Make green peas and penne pasta with light cheese sauce

1Saute peppers and onion in olive oil using non-stick pan over med heat for 3-5 minutes.

2Stir in pasta and peas.

3Mix chicken broth and cornstarch in a microwaveable bowls safe dish.

4Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for additional minutes or until sauce bubbles.

5Add Cheese and pour over pasta and peas mixture and enjoy.
