I've had this recipe so long, I had to look up where it came from. . . That being my friend Rhonda. This recipe is hearty and delicious. Simple, affordable, and, did I say it? Delicious. Served with a piece (or 3) of buttered bread, it's perfect for a cold winter's day!

Ingredients For goulash

1 lbground beef

1 mdonion, chopped

1 canmushrooms

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

3 ctomato juice

1 Tbspvinegar

1 tspsalt

1/8 tsppepper

1 tspdry mustard

1 cuncooked macaroni
How To Make goulash

1***Alternate preparation -- Start cooking macaroni by itself, first, according to package directions. Do not add until 5 minutes to end of cook-time. This takes more time and work, but the noodles taste better.***

2Brown burger & onion. Drain off excess fat.

3Add mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard, and macaroni.

4Boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally.
