This is a new exciting way to have pasta. The sauce is creamy and it is full of garlic and onion flavor, but it is not over powering. My family really enjoyed this new recipe!

Ingredients For garlic french onion pasta

  • 16 oz box
    spaghetti
  • 4 clove
    garlic, roasted
  • 8 oz
    garlic butter spread (2 4oz. tubs)
  • 6 bunch
    green onions, diced
  • 1 md
    jalapeno pepper
  • 1/4 c
    diced sun dried tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    french onion dip
  • 1/4 c
    half and half
  • 8 0z bag
    jack daniels tennesse honey chicken strips, chopped
  • 4 slice
    prosciutto, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c
    pasta water

How To Make garlic french onion pasta

    Cook spaghetti according to box. Save a 1/4 cup pasta water.

    Roast the garlic for 30 minutes in a preheated 350 oven
  • 3
    Melt garlic butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • 4
    Add the onion and the jalapeno pepper and the sun dried tomatoes, saute 4 minutes.

    Add the dip, and stir. Then add the half and half, stir.

    Add the chicken and the prosciutto.

    Add the roasted Garlic.
  • 8
    Stir in the Pasta water. Salt and pepper to taste

    Toss the pasta in the sauce.
