My brother made these for me once and I thought they were so awesome, so I got the redipe from him. You can use either cheese or meat raviolis or a combination.

Ingredients For fried ravioli

  • 1
    20 oz pkg frozen cheese or meat ravioli
  • 3/4 c
    italian-style bread crumbs
  • 3/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil, for frying
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • marinara sauce, for dipping

How To Make fried ravioli

    Cook ravioli as directed, drain and cool. Heat oven to 350. Spray a baking sheet w/ cooking spray.

    In bowl, combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, basil and oregnao. In another bowl, mix together milk and egg.Dip ravioli, a few at a time into milk, then coat fully w/ breadcrumbs.

    In skillet, heat oil over med-high heat. Fry ravioli, a few at a time in oil, until golden on both sides, about 5 mins. Drain on paper towels. Place ravioli on baking sheet. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese. Bake 15 mins. Serve w/ marinara sauce.
