Ingredients For florentine spaghetti bake

1 lbitalian sausage

3/4 lbspaghetti, uncooked

"just a pinch" of pepper

1/4 cparmesan cheese, grated

1egg, beaten
-
2 ccottage cheese
-
10 ozspinach, thawed and drained

1/2 tsporegano
-
1/2 tspbasil
-
1 tspseasoned salt
-
28 oztomato sauce
-
1garlic clove, minced
-
1 conion, chopped
-
2 cmozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make florentine spaghetti bake

1In large skillet - cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is no longer pink, stirring often, drain.

2Stir in tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, basil and oregano, bring to a boil.

3Reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes.

4In medium bowl, combine spinach, cottage cheese, egg, parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt and pepper, mix well.

5Prepare spaghetti.

6Spread 1 cup meat mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan.

7Layer cooked spaghetti, remaining meat sauce, spinach mixture and mozzarella.

8Cover and bake in 375 degree oven about 40 minutes.

9Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
