This is a family favorite; easy without cooking noodles in advance. Use your favorite spaghetti sauce & lighten the recipe with low-fat cheeses if desired. It's always great.

Ingredients For easy one-step lasagna

1 lbground beef
-
32 ozspaghetti sauce

1/2 cwater
-
1 tsporegano, dried and basil

12 ozcottage cheese, lowfat

1egg, beaten
-
9lasagna noodles, uncooked

3/4 cmozzarella cheese, shredded
-
1/2 cparmesan cheese
How To Make easy one-step lasagna

1Heat oven to 350. Brown beef, drain & stir in spaghetti sauce, water, basil & oregano. Simmer 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2In a small bowl, combined cottage cheese & beaten egg.

3Spread thin layer meat sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Layer 1/3 noodles, 1/3 sauce, 1/3 cottage cheese & 1/3 mozzarella; repeat, ending with mozzarella; sprinkle with parmesan. Cover with foil, bake 30 minutes. Remove foil & bake additional 25-30 minutes. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
