This is one of my favorite quick and easy meals. I like lots of sauce, but if you don't, then use the larger amount of pasta.

Ingredients For easy creamy shrimp linguine for two

  • water to boil pasta
  • 1 tsp
    salt for pasta water
  • 1 jar
    roasted garlic parmesan alfredo sauce (i like prego brand)
  • 1 c
    baby salad shrimp, frozen
  • 1/4-1/3 lb
    linguine, uncooked
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    shaved fresh parmesan cheese

How To Make easy creamy shrimp linguine for two

  • 1
    Over high heat, bring a 3 quart saucepan of water to a boil; add one teaspoon salt, then add linguine; return to boil, lower heat to medium high and boil for 11 minutes.

    While pasta is boiling, pour jar of sauce into a medium saucepan, add 1 cup frozen baby shrimp. Simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, until shrimp are hot. Lower heat to barely simmer, stirring frequently, until the pasta is ready.

    Drain pasta, then pour the pasta into the shrimp sauce. Mix until pasta is covered in sauce and shrimp is evenly distributed

    Pour the mixture into serving bowl/plate, sprinkle with fresh parmesan shavings. Serve immediately.
