Ingredients For crock pot penne

1 lbsweet italian sausage
-
1 can(15 oz.) tomato sauce
-
1 can(14 oz.) diced tomatoes
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
salt and pepper
-
1/4 colive oil
-
2 tspgranulated sugar
-
1/2-3/4 lbpenne pasta
-
1 cshredded mozzarella
-
parmesan cheese
How To Make crock pot penne

1Cook sausage (casings removed) in frying pan on medium heat until browned & crumbly. Drain well.

2Place in crockpot. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, oil and sugar. Stir well.

3Cook on low 7 to 8 hours.

4Salt large pot of water and cook 1/2 - 3/4 lb of penne 4-5 minutes less than directions on box call for.

5Add penne and stir well.

6Top with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.

7Continue to cook on high for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender and heated and the cheese has melted.
