1 pkgsmoked sausage,sliced

2 ccheese, shredded

1 boxmacaroni, elbow

4 cmilk
-
6 Tbspbutter, melted

6 Tbspflour

1 1/2 tspsalt
How To Make creamy smoked sausage mac and cheese

1Lightly brown sliced sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels and set aside.

2Cook pasta according to pkg. directions and drain. Set aside.

3Pour the milk into microwavable bowl and heat until warm about 2 1/2 minures.

4In large pot melt butter over med. heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add the warm milk, whisking constantly until it is all added like a roux. Cook stirring very frequently until thick, about 5 minutes.

5Reduce heat to low and gradually add the cheese stirring constantly until melted. Add salt and mix well.

6Add cooked pasta and sausage to the pot and mix well. Enjoy.
