Ingredients For creamy pasta with bacon and ahi tuna

  • 8 oz
    fusilli col buca pasta. ( or any pasta)
  • 6 slice
    bacon cut into pieces
  • 2
    ahi tuna steaks about 5 oz each
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    fresh parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper

How To Make creamy pasta with bacon and ahi tuna

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. While the pasta is cooking add the bacon to a skillet big enough to hold the pasta. Cook until done. Remove with a slotted spoon. Add the tuna steaks and sear on all sides remove to a cutting board.

    Add the butter and cream to the pan. Drain the pasta and add to the cream mixture. Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed.

    Cut the tuna into chunks. Stir the bacon, parsley and tuna into the pasta. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.
