Ingredients For classic lasagna

1 lbground beef
-
3/4 cchopped onion
-
2 Tbspoil
-
1 can(1 lb) tomatoes, chopped or pureed

12 oztomato paste
-
2 cwater
-
1 Tbspchopped parsley
-
2 tspsalt
-
1 tspsugr
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 tsporegano leaves
-
8 ozlasagna noodles, cooked
-
1 lbricotta cheese
-
8 ozmozzarella cheese (shredded)
-
1 cgrated parmesan cheese
How To Make classic lasagna

1In a large heavy skillet, lightly brown meat and onion in oil.

2Add tomatoes, paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper,and oregano and simmer uncovered about 30 minutes.

3Cook noodles as directed; drain.

4Spread about1 cup sauce in bottom of 9x13 pan

5Alternate layers of noodles, sauce, ricotta, mozzarella & parmesan, ending with sauce, mozzarella & parmesan.

6Bake 40-50 minutes @ 350. Allow to stand 15 minutes, cut in squares.
