Ingredients For chicken, shrimp and sausage cajun pasta

2 Tbspolive oil

1/2 lbboneless skinless chicken breast

8 ozhot or mild sausage links, casing removed.

1 mdonion, chopped

2 stickcelery, chopped

1/2green bell pepper, diced
-
1/2red bell pepper, diced

1/2 tspdried thyme
-
1/4 tsporegano, dried
-
1/4 tsppaprika
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4-1/2 tspcayenne pepper (optional)

1/2 tspcajun seasoning (optional)

1 crigatoni pasta, cooked
-
1 can14 oz diced tomatoes with juice
-
1 can16 oz tomato sauce
-
8 ozmedium shrimp peeled and cut in half

2 Tbspfresh chopped parsley
How To Make chicken, shrimp and sausage cajun pasta

1Cook pasta per directions on box, set aside.

2In large Dutch oven, brown chicken and sausage in hot oil. Remove and drain.

3Add onion, green and red peppers, celery, bell pepper, thyme, oregano, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning to the pan. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes until onions and peppers are tender.

4Add pasta, tomatoes with juice and tomato sauce, chicken and sausage into the Dutch oven. Bring to a boil.

5Stir in shrimp and parsley. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes longer or until shrimp curl and turn pink. Serve.
