Ingredients For chicken pasta alfredo

  • 1 box
    linguine or fettucine
  • 2 lg
    chicken breasts, or 1 turkey breast half, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    half & half
  • 1 c
    shredded parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley and parmesan cheese for garnishing

How To Make chicken pasta alfredo

    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    Heat olive oil and butter in nonstick skillet. Add the chicken. Sprinkle garlic salt and dried parsley on the chicken. Cook for until thoroughly done. Remove from pan, keep warm.

    Mix flour into pan drippings until well blended. Then add half & half and sour cream . Stir until thoroughly combined, stirring constantly. Add parmesan cheese and continue to heat over medium low heat until cheese is melted and well incorporated into the sauce.

    Stir together chicken and pasta into sauce. Sprinkle with a bit more parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley!
