Ingredients For cheesy tuna mac

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 8 oz
    shell macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 2 sm
    cans tuna, drained
  • 1 c
    frozen peas
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • fresh parsley, minced

How To Make cheesy tuna mac

  • 1
    Add butter to a large saucepan. Add the onion and saute until onion is translucent. Add the flour and stir, cooking 2 minutes. Slowly pour in the milk and whisk until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cheese and stir until cheese is melted.

    Add the noodles, tuna and peas. Cook, stirring, until warmed through. Serve garnished with parsley.
