16lasagna noodles cooked and cooled

1 lgcontainer full fat ricotta cheese

2 cshredded mozzarella cheese

1 cparmesan cheese

1/2 cfresh basil minced divided
- VODKA SAUCE

1 lgsweet onion chopped

6 clovegarlic minced

3 Tbspolive oil
-
2 can28 oz crushed tomatoes

1 1/2 cvodka
-
1 smcan tomato paste

salt and pepper to taste

1For the sauce Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil until translucent. Add the crushed tomatoes and vodka. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add the tomato paste heavy cream and 1/4 cup basil. Simmer another 1/2 hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

2Mix the cheeses together with the other 1/4 cup basil. Lay out the lasagna noodles on wax paper. Cover the entire length of noodle with cheese mixture. Roll up and place in greased cooking pan seam side down.

3When all are finished spoon sauce over top. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
