cavatappi pasta & prosciutto in garlic cream sauce
I was craving prosciutto and a creamy cheesy sauce. I came up with this on the fly and it's delicious.

Ingredients For cavatappi pasta & prosciutto in garlic cream sauce

16 ozcavatappi pasta

2 pkgprosciutto, slice

1 ptheavy whipping cream
-
4 clovegarlic, minced

2 lgshallots, diced

1 Tbspavocado oil
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
2 pinchsalt
-
1/2 tspfreshly ground pepper

1 1.2 cfresh grated parmesan, romano, asiago cheeses

1 Tbspminced parsley
How To Make cavatappi pasta & prosciutto in garlic cream sauce

1slice prosciutto into 1 inch strips

2heat 1 tbsp oil on medium in pan. add prosciutto, shallots, & garlic. Saute until shallots are soft.

3Heat pasta water until boiling, cook pasta according to package directions.

4Meanwhile, add the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, & pepper to pan. Heat to biling, immediately turn heat to low.

5add cheese to the sauce, and stir until melted and mixed well.

6Drain pasta and place pasta in a serving bowl. Add sauce and toss to coat the pasta. top with parsley. Serve immediately.
