caprese pasta sauce - easy peasy, quick and easy
This is my take on classic Caprese sauce. When you come home from work late, or just don't feel like cooking a big meal, this really hits the spot. My family loves when I cook this dish. I hope your family enjoys it too.

Ingredients For caprese pasta sauce - easy peasy, quick and easy

16oz. box of thin spaghetti

8oz. mozzerella cheese, cut in small cubes

3tbsp. oil

1tsp. garlic powder, more or less depending on taste

1tsp. italian seasoning

1/2tsp. salt, or to taste

1/2tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

128 oz. can of petite diced tomatoes, with juices

1/2cup white wine

1-1/2cups sliced black olives
How To Make caprese pasta sauce - easy peasy, quick and easy

1Cook pasta to desired consistency, reserving 1 cup of the water for later, if needed.

2In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except cubed Mozzerella cheese. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

3Drain pasta, mix in sauce, and add Mozzerella cubes. Stir and mix well. Serve immediately. Use pasta water if too dry, but I doubt it will be.
