I made this in a 13X9 PAN.. wanted enough for large family. this is so good and EVEN better the next day.You could make this up a few days before you need it and then bake.. Trust me it is so good. the flavors just blends even better,,My family LOVES it better even day older... They thinks taste better..I tried to give right measurements. I like to just throw my stuff together by eye.lol.. ENJOY

Ingredients For brenda"s spaghetti pie version

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • spaghetti sauce of your choice
  • half onion chopped
  • garlic to your liking
  • 1 tsp
    spaghetti seasoning spice
  • 1 tsp
    sweet basil
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    cottage cheese
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese or to your liking.. or less
  • 4
    eggs beaten
  • 12 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter melted

How To Make brenda"s spaghetti pie version

    Cook Spaghetti pasta in boiling water till done. rinse noodle in cold water . set a side to cool down. while you prepare rest . Cooling process allows the eggs NOT to cook on noodles..

    cook ground beef , onions, garlic, green peppers if you want. till done.. add spaghetti seasoning and anout one cup sauce. make it look like my picture i added.Use your judgement on sauce..set aside..

    Mix cottage cheese ,sweet basil.. parmesan sheese and some salt and pepper to your liking...

    Mis your cooled spaghetti noodles with some pasta sauce ..just enoght to cover all noodle .. like my picture..

    Then add scrambled eggs and half cup parmesan cheese with your hands to the noodles.. and the sauce.. It mixes better when you use your hands..

    Grease a 9x13 pan .. add prepared noodles to pan. Push up sides of pan and flatten bottom push up.. like picture..work it..

    Then add cottage cheese on top noodles ...

    then add your sauce... bake in 350 oven for about thiry minutes... keep eye on it...

    after it cooks let it cool for about ten minutes.. cuts better...
