Ingredients For bolognese sauce

4 ozpancetta (or center cut bacon), chopped

1 Tbspunsalted butter

1 lgwhite onion, minced

2 stalkcelery stalks, minced

2 lblean ground beef

1/4 cdry white wine (ex: pinot grigio)

2 can(28 oz) crushed tomatoes

1/2 tspkosher salt

fresh black pepper, to taste

1/2 chalf and half
-
1/4 cfresh parsley, chopped
How To Make bolognese sauce

1Sauté the Pancetta over low heat until the fat melts, about 4-5 minutes.

2Add the butter, onion celery and carrots and cook until soft. About 6-8 minutes.

3Add the ground beef and season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and black pepper to taste and sauté until browned, about 4-5 minutes, breaking the meat up into smaller pieces with a spoon as it cooks.

4Add the wine and cook until it reduces down, about 3-4 minutes.

5Add crushed tomatoes, 1/4 teaspoon salt and black pepper to taste. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

6Stir in the half & half and garnish with parsley. Serve over your favorite pasta, zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash,.
