I have been making this for a wile now.My wife asked if I would make this for her to take intowork. So I started last night and baked it this moring.

Ingredients For bob's stuffed pasta shells

  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 24 oz box
    large pasta shells.
  • 1 md
    onion,diced
  • a dash of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried and basil
  • 2 clove
    garlic,diced
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 lb
    monterey jack cheese,melted.
  • 2 md
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 4 8oz can
    tomato sauce, italian seasoned
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 can
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese

    In a large skillet cook bacon till chrisp. Remove and crumble.In the skillet add onions cook for 4 or 5 minutis,add garlic.cook for 2 minutis more..Add beef and cook till no longer pink.Drain and set aside to cool..

    In a large pan add water to cook pasta shells,Cook shells till just barly cooked.You want them cooked enough to stuff.Remove from boiling water and let cool.Pre-heat oven to 350.. In a sauce pan add 3 cans of tomato sauce and i can of paste.Stir till completly mixed..

    In a large bowl add beef mixture,eggs,bread crumbs,spices,one can tomato sauce,bacon,soy sauce,and cheese.. Mix completly..Stuff shells with the mixture.Place in an oven proof dutch oven. Pour heated tomato sauce over shells sprinkle parmesan cheese over top.. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutis.. Serve over rice..
