Ingredients For bob's daring beer and wine stew..

3/4 cflour

3 lblean beef chuck, cut into cubes

3/4 cwhite wine, medium

1/2 lbbacon

1/2 ccooking oil

1/4 ctomato paste

1/4 tspthyme

3 clovegarlic minced

2 lgonion diced

6 sprigparsley

3 cbeer

1bay leaf

7 mdcarrots cutup

salt and pepper, to taste..

How To Make bob's daring beer and wine stew..

1In a hot dutch oven cook bacon with oil till almost crisp. Put flour in a bag, add meat and shake to coat meat.. Remove bacon from oven with slotted spoon, cut up bacon and set a side.. Brown beef chuck in bacon drippings on all sides..

2Now add garlic and onion cook 4-5 minutes.. Add beer, wine, bay leaf parsley, and thyme.. Partially cover and cook over med heat for 1 1/2 hours.. Remove bay leaf and add carrots. You may need to add more beer, cook for about one hour more... Serve over cooked noodles..
