Ingredients For beefaroni skillet dinner

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 md
    yellow onion-chopped
  • 1 lb
    large pasta
  • 1 can
    tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced-no drain
  • 1 can
    black beans, canned-no drain
  • 1 can
    green chiles, mild-no drain
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic parsley salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 c
    salsa, chunky
  • 1 tsp
    cumin

How To Make beefaroni skillet dinner

    In a Large skillet on med/ high heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat. Add in diced onion until translucent. educe heat.

    Add in spices and canned items to skillet. Stir to combined thoroughly. Turn up the heat to high, then reduce to a simmer. Stir frequently until thick. about 10 min.

    While meat simmers, heat water for pasta. I like my pasta Al dente'.
  • 4
    Top with fresh parmesan and serve.
