This was my Mother's favorite recipe for stroganoff. Great for winter.

Ingredients For beef stroganoff

  • 2 to 3 lb
    beef round steak
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 5 to 6 c
    water
  • 1 lb
    bag of egg noodles

How To Make beef stroganoff

  • 1
    cut steak into small pieces place in a dutch oven or large sauce pan with the onion soup mix cover with water let simmer until meat begins to tender, approx 45 minutes. add the cans of mushroom soup and rest of the water and egg noodles bake at 350 degrees until noodles are tender.
