Ingredients For beef & noodle toss

  • 8 oz
    lasagna noodles,break in half
  • 12oz
    boneless beef sirloin,cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 pt
    grape tomatoes,(2cups)
  • 1oz
    sliced crimini or button mushrooms
  • 4 clove
    garlic,minced,(2tsp)
  • 1-14oz
    beef broth,1 can

How To Make beef & noodle toss

    Break noodles in half,cook according to directions.Drain. Meanwhile,season beef with salt & pepper to taste.Toss with flour.Heat oil in 12 in.skillet over med-high heat. Add meat,any remaining flour,cook lightly brown,then add tomatoes.Cook 3-4mins.or til beef iw well browned,stirring often. Add mushrooms & garlic. Cook 5mins more. Add broth,cook 3-4 mins.more or til beef is done and liquid is slightly thickened. Add cooked noodles to skillet;stir gently to coat. Heat through. Be careful not to break tomatoes,some may cook up but some will be intact! Spoon into pasta bowls. Serve with warm crusty bread & green salad! 468 cal,16g.fat,40mg.chol,712mg sodium,52g carbs,3gm fiber,28 gm.protein. can reduce sodium by using a low sod.beef broth & omitting the salt.Mrs Dash is a good sub. Lower fat by using very lean beef.
