Ingredients For baked mac&cheese inside baked mac&cheese

    jumbo shells
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. mini shells
  • 2 c
    swiss cheese shredded
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c
    mozzarella cheese shedded
  • 1/2 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 pinch
    white pepper
  • 1 qt
    vodka sauce
  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley, italian chopped

How To Make baked mac&cheese inside baked mac&cheese

    Cook both pasta shells according to package instructions and set aside. Using a large non stick skillet,melt the butter,add the Swiss,cheddar and half and half,stirring frequently until the cheese have dissolved.

    Add the mini shells to the cheese sauce and set to the side. In a 3 qt. casserole dish spread half of the vodka sauce on the bottom,fill each jumbo shell with the mini shell mixture and arrange in the dish.

    Spread the remaining vodka sauce over the top,cover and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for thirty minutes. Combine the panko crumbs with the Parmesan cheese,parsley.Uncover the casserole and top with the bread crumb mixture and bake for fifteen more minutes. Plate and serve! Enjoy! :)

    Please note: You can either buy the vodka sauce or make your own. To make the sauce you will need to heat one quart of marinara sauce,add 1/4 cup of vodka,1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/4 cup of Romano cheese,heat and stir for ten minutes and your done! :)
