Ingredients For asian inspired asparagus & angel hair pasta

  • 8 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 10 stalk
    asparagus trimmed
  • 1 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    sweet soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemongrass paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    each oyster sauce and hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    sambal olek sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 5 Tbsp
    water

How To Make asian inspired asparagus & angel hair pasta

  • 1
    Cook the angel hair pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. About 5 minutes before it is done throw in the Asparagus. Drain.
  • 2
    Mix all the ingredients for sauce except cornstarch and water together. Bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch and water together and slowly whisk into the sauce.

    Serve the angel hair topped with asparagus and sauce overtop.
