This is a simple to make yet very tasty dish! I improvise a bit and add extra garlic, cheese, artichoke hearts and capers. My family and friends are always asking me to make this dish. It's always a hit!!

Ingredients For artichoke linguine

1/4 colive oil, extra virgin

1/4 cbutter (1/2 a stick)

1 Tbspflour
-
1 cchicken broth
-
2cloves garlic (chopped)

kosher salt and white pepper to taste

1 Tbsplemon juice

1 canartichoke hearts (rinced and drained)

2 Tbspgrated parmesan cheese
-
2 tspcapers (rinsed and drained)

1 lblinguine, cooked
How To Make artichoke linguine

1Boil pasta according to directions.In the meantime, melt the 1/4 cup of butter with the 1/4 cup of oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth, about 3 minutes. Blend in the broth, stirring until thickened, about 1 minute.Reduce heat to low. Add the garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Blend in the artichokes, capers and the 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese.Cover and simmer over low heat for about 8 minutes.
