My husband found this recipe online and, while he is a terrific cook - This is BY FAR the best thing that he makes. While we have always been fortunate enough to have vension in the freezer, I'm sure that lean ground meat could be substituted.

Ingredients For venison meat loaf

2eggs
-
1 cantomato sauce (8 oz)

1medium onion, finely chopped
-
1 cdry bread crumbs
-
1-1/2 tspsalt
-
1/8 tsppepper
-
1-1/2 lbground venison
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 Tbspspicy brown mustard
-
2 Tbspvinegar
-
worcestershire sauce, to taste
How To Make venison meat loaf

1In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs.

2Add tomato sauce, onion, crumbs, salt & pepper and worcestershire sauce. Add venison and mix well.

3Press into an ungreased 9-inch loaf pan.

4Combine brown sugar, mustard and vinegar. Pour over meat loaf.

5Bake uncovered at 350 for 70 minutes.
