    chopped white onion
  • 3 Tbsp
    herb butter
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • HERB BUTTER
  • 7 oz
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    roasted garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • 1 tsp
    rosemary
  • 1 tsp
    thyme

How To Make tuscan onion frittata recipe

    HERB BUTTER: In a small sauce pan on low heat add olive oil, herbs and garlic; saute for 1 minute. Add butter and bring to a boil, do not burn.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Melt 3 Tbs. herb butter in a 10 1/2 inch oven proof skillet over medium heat. Add red pepper and onions, Saute onions until soft.

    Beat eggs, salt and cheese together. Pour egg mixture over onions, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Place in oven. Bake for 15 minutes. Slide onto a serving dish and cool before serving.
