Ingredients For tofu loaf

  • 2 pkg
    14oz tofu firm, non gmo (mashed)
  • 4 Tbsp
    mckays chicken style instant seasoning & broth
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 4
    eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 5 c
    rice krispies cereal
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • SAUCE FOR TOP
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    ketchup

How To Make tofu loaf

  • 1
    Mash tofu with a potato masher.
  • 2
    Combine remaining ingredients to tofu and mix well.

    Pour into lightly greased oblong 9 x 13 glass baking dish.

    For the Sauce: Combine brown sugar and water, mix until sugar dissolves. Add ketchup and mix until smooth.

    Pour sauce over loaf to cover the entire loaf.

    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until done.
