It's the perfect chili and that's because like most fabulous recipe creations out there it's from testing and using what you have on hand so on a cold afternoon I looked in my cabinets and refrigerator for what I had on hand and WOW WOW WOW that is all I have to say about that! :)

Ingredients For the perfect chili

1 pkgjohnsonville mild italian sausage(out of the casing)

1 1/2 lbground turkey

2 Tbspolive oil

1 1/2 cyellow onion chopped

1 1/2 cred bell pepper chopped

1chili pepper chopped (seeds removed)

1jalapeno pepper chopped( seeds removed)

56 ozcanned crushed tomatoes
-
6 ozcan tomato paste
-
15 1/2 ozcan spicy chili beans

1/2 ccilantro chopped
-
3garlic cloves minced
-
1envelope dry onion soup mix
-
1/2 cregular beer
-
8 ozcan crushed pineapple drained

1 tspcayenne pepper
-
1 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

1 tspground cumin
-
1 tsppaprika
-
1/4 cchili powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspblack pepper
-
3 csharp cheddar shredded cheese 2% reduced fat
How To Make the perfect chili

1On medium high heat in a large deep pot add oil, sausage and ground turkey and cook until no longer pink about 8 minutes. Make sure to take a spoon and break the meat up into small pieces while it's cooking.

2Next add remaining ingredients mix until well incorporated. Lower heat to low and cover and simmer 2 hours. while cooking mix chili every 15 minutes. Serve hot and top with shredded cheese.
