Ingredients For the laird's shrimp

  • 1/4 lb
    butter
  • 2 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
    finely chopped onion
  • 1 lb
    raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 Tbsp
    johnnie walker red liquor
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make the laird's shrimp

  • 1
    Heat butter in skillet. Add garlic and onions and cook over low heat until translucent. Add shrimp, Johnnie Walker , lemon juice and basil. Saute shrimp just until pink; stirring often. Be careful not to overcook. Add salt and pepper to taste. Makes 2-3 servings.
