Ingredients For teriyaki chicken veggie stir fry skillet

  • 1-1/2 c
    cooked chicken breast-shredded
  • 3 c
    rice, cooked and hot
  • 1-1/2 c
    broccoli florets
  • 2 c
    peas and carrots, frozen
  • 2 c
    mushrooms -chopped
  • 1 c
    red bell pepper-diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 c
    green bell pepper
  • DRESSING
  • 2/3 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic-minced
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make teriyaki chicken veggie stir fry skillet

    Start by cooking rice. I use an Electric Rice Cooker. Recipe for cooking Rice should be on the pkg. Set aside.

    In a Nonstick, melt 2, T. Olive oil and 2 T Butter. Add in Veggies and sauté on Med/ High heat.

    Add in shredded chicken. Continue to stir heating chicken through and making sure veggies are done.

    Meanwhile, whisk up all Teriyaki dressing in a bowl. Add in 2 T cornstarch and 2 T. water. whisk again to combine. Add sauce to skillet of veggies. Sauce should thicken.

    Gradually add Rice to Skillet. Mix until all is combined.. Grab some bowls/chopsticks or forks because it's time to EAT!
