2 candiced tomatoes (15 oz each)

2 Tbspsugar or splenda

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper

4 Tbspbutter

1 cbaking mix

6-8 Tbspmilk
How To Make stewed tomatoes with dumplings

1In a large saucepan, combine the tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

2In a small bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk. Drop batter in 4-6 mounds onto the tomatoes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in a dumpling comes out clean (do not lift cover while simmering).

3This may sound like a strange dish, but it is very tummy soothing and soul satisfying. Enjoy!
