I adapted this recipe from Southern Living. I serve it with Zatarain's Yellow Rice, fixed according to package directions. It's been a big hit!

Ingredients For slow-cooker beans and smoked sausage

2 lbsmoked sausage, sliced

1green pepper, finely chopped

1 cchopped onion

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 (15 oz) cankidney beans, rinsed and drained

2 (15 oz) canchili beans with sauce

1 (15 oz) cantomato sauce

1 2/3 cwater
-
1 1/2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2 tspcreole seasoning
-
3 Tbspsweet pepper sauce
How To Make slow-cooker beans and smoked sausage

1Cook sausage in skillet over medium-high heat until browned.

2Place all ingredients in Crock Pot. Stir in sausage.

3Cook on low for about 4 hours. Serve with Rice.
