As a child,I didn't like cooked cabbage.I tasted cabbage at a Jamaican restaurant that had carrots in it and I loved it.I added the green onions and now this is the way I cook it .

Ingredients For sauteed cabbage

  • 1 t. vegetable oil
  • 2 t. butter
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
  • 4-5 thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 medium size head of cabbage
  • salt and pepper,to taste

How To Make sauteed cabbage

  • 1
    Heat oil and melt butter in a large skillet.Saute carrots until tender.Add green onions and cabbage,stir and cook until cabbage is crisp tender,season to taste with salt and pepper.
