As a child,I didn't like cooked cabbage.I tasted cabbage at a Jamaican restaurant that had carrots in it and I loved it.I added the green onions and now this is the way I cook it .

Ingredients For sauteed cabbage

1 t. vegetable oil
-
2 t. butter
-
1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
-
4-5 thinly sliced green onions
-
1 medium size head of cabbage

salt and pepper,to taste
How To Make sauteed cabbage

1Heat oil and melt butter in a large skillet.Saute carrots until tender.Add green onions and cabbage,stir and cook until cabbage is crisp tender,season to taste with salt and pepper.
