4carrots, thinly sliced

1onion, thinly sliced

1/2 tspground black pepper

1/2 tspground cumin

1/4 tspground turmeric

1/2head cabbage, shredded

5red potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
How To Make sauteed cabbage and potatoes ethiopian-style

1In a medium skillet, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat. Add the onion and carrots and saute in oil for approx. 5 minutes.

2Add seasonings and cabbage and cook another 15 - 20 minutes.

3Stir in red potatoes; cover and cook over medium-low for 15-20 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
