I like garbanzo beans and am always ready to try a recipe using them. Hope you enjoy this one too. And the best thing is that this dish can be throw together very quickly.

Ingredients For sausage and garbanzo beans

  • 2 can
    (15ozs) grabanzo beans--drained
  • 1 lb
    polish sausage, sliced
  • 15 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 clove
    garlic--minced
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano--crushed
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper

How To Make sausage and garbanzo beans

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; cover. Cook on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving.

    NOTE: May add salt if desired; however, I find it salty enough from the sausage.
