We've made lamb chops this way for years. They smell awesome while they're cooking. A lot of times we throw them on the grill instead.....for about the same amount of time.

Ingredients For rosemary and garlic lamb chops

5 clovegarlic

3 Tbspextra virgin olive oil

2 1/2 tspfresh rosemary, chopped

2 1/4 tspsalt

1 tspblack pepper

12lamb chops (about 2 1/2 oz each)
How To Make rosemary and garlic lamb chops

1Combine first 5 ingredients in processor; blend until garlic is finely chopped.

2Coat chops with garlic mixture.

3Arrange chops in single layer on baking sheet. (Can be made 8 hours ahead. Cover; chill.)

4Preheat broiler.

5Watching closely, broil lamb 4 to 5 inches from heat source until cooked to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.

6Transfer 3 chops to each plate and serve.
